As Global Procurement Category Manager you will be playing an instrumental role within the category, where you are expected to work efficiently with a large set of internal and external stakeholders. Working for a leading organization, this independent role will be part of a global procurement team. With a variety of procurement projects planned across a broad category portfolio.
You will be exposed to complex negotiations with suppliers where you need to be able to structure your approach, act confidently and take decisions. As a part of your duties will be the development and implementation of procurement category strategies meeting business needs, today and in the future and sourcing, introduction and development of new suppliers including business transfers.
We look for Candidates with:
5-7 years of professional experience in Procurement and/or extended Supply Chain environment is essential.
Proven track record of managing external suppliers and subcontractors with a complex and wide range of products with the highest quality standards.
Skilled in Procurement process disciplines from Nutritional Supplements, Pharmaceutical or Food industry.
Working knowledge of multiple spend categories, e-procurement processes and systems eg. Ariba.
Very good English skills.
Strong collaboration, change management and influencing skills.
Ability to work in diverse cultural and geographic environments and adhere to highest ethical standards.
