Global Planning Intern
Workplace: WarszawaOriflame is now looking for Interns to Global Planning Department to further strengthen our team. We are looking for interns to 3 teams: Supply Planning, Distribution Planning and Inventory Management.
During the internship, you will:
- Work with real data, on real-life examples
- See how supply chain management looks like
- Understand challenges of direct selling industry
- Depending on the organization, learn:
o how to plan flow of products among hubs, distribution centers and markets
o how to plan production and manage capacity issues
o how to analyze complex data and manage inventory levels
- Cooperate closely with other global and regional teams internationally
- See how to do performance analysis and work with complex databases
- Independently develop solutions for appearing problems in stock availability, capacity management, excess stock, demand fluctuations areas
- Understand how to monitor agreed KPIs for inventory, safety stock and service levels; propose improvement actions
- Ensure correct master data and parameters setup in supply chain systems
Who we are looking for?
- Students of 4-5th year or fresh graduates of relevant studies in: Supply chain / Production / Engineering / Management / Quantitive methods
- Fluency in English is a must
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills are a must
- Very good Excel skills
- Excellent team player
- Dynamic and self-motivated
- Experience with JDA Fulfillment, SAP APO or other DRP/MRP (Distribution / Materials Resources Planning) software would be an advantage
- Previous experience during work/internship in similar fields will be an advantage
