Your new role
As a GL Team Leader you will be responsible for leading and supporting the team of GL members and performing operational tasks. She/he Carries out recruitment, assessment and development conversations. Leads and coaches a team of General Ledger clerks to deliver a series of daily tasks ensuring operating procedures are adhered and targets exceeded. Focal point for the total team e.g. at escalations during the daily process. Manage stakeholder relationships. Compliant handling of the general ledger, period close (plan and execute, including monitoring outbound invoicing and revenue recognition) and all engagements related hereto, which involves natural interaction with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders. You will also perform maintenance of fixed assets & FX exposure (including reporting) in compliance with internal policies, SLA and external legislation. The responsibilities also include preparation of audit files and facilitation internal and external auditions. Identification of process improvements, maintenance of internal controls.
What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate will have advanced accounting and ERP systems knowledge and at least 5 years of working, including 1-2 years of people leadership experience. Advanced English. A second foreign language will be an asset.
