GL Specialist Accountant with French
Purpose of Role:
Reports to and supports the respective Team Lead. The role will perform General Ledger transaction processing responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with defined operating procedures.
Key Activities:
- Responsible for ensuring proper GL activities according to SLA
- Preparation of general ledger account reconciliations;
- Posting of manual business transactions and monitoring SAP GL accounts; journal vouchers
- MEC activities
- Perform daily check on reconciliation of external systems into SAP GL
- The reconciliation of intercompany balances.
- Preparation of audit files if necessary
- Perform other duties as agreed with General Ledger Team Lead
- Achieve performance objectives agreed with General Ledger Team Lead
- Contribute to Financial Accounting and Control process improvement initiatives as required
Professional skills:
- BSc in Economics or Business Administration with Major in accounting. Professional certification such as a CPA or a CIMA is an advantage
- 1 st level Accounting Course in Stowarzyszenie Księgowych as an advantage
- Typically 1-3 years experience in accounting area preferably General Ledger
- Business English and French (oral and written skills) across finance organization- min.B2
- Fluent or sufficient communication skills (oral and written skills) in other language as per customer requirements
- Experience working within General Ledger process, or other core financial processes, within a complex, large volume environment would be an advantage
- SSC experience an advantage

- Good working knowledge of SAP, Scanning and workflow technology would be an advantage
