An exciting opportunity to join a new SSC. For Rockwool Global Business Service Center in Poznā we are looking for candidates, who would like to develop and gain new experience in GL processes for Hungarian Business Units or Polish Business Units (including process migrations). Your new role
As a Senior member of a Polish or Hungarian accounting team you will be responsible for compliant handling of the general ledger, period close and all engagements related hereto, which involves natural interaction with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain the SAP fixed assets register in accordance with IFRS and follow up on pending investments (projects/assets under construction), impairments, write downs and disposals. Process and monitor depreciations (during period close) and prepare fixed assets reports. Tax related activities. Process SAP postings and clearings (e.g. salary journal, provisions, accruals, suspense accounts, etc.) Process intercompany invoices (both automated as manual) and monitor EDI process (and related suspense accounts like Goods In Transit). Coordinate intercompany reconciliations during period close. Document and monitor period close status and secure that group reporting deadlines are met. This includes the review of the correctness and completeness of the general ledger balances/results and the preparation of the quarterly audit files. Is responsible for various period close specific processes like the revaluation run related to foreign currency balances, cycles and assessments, group reporting, etc. Coordinate and support group audits
What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidates will be ready to take part in the migration process abroad or in Poland, will have relevant accounting and ERP systems knowledge and at least 3 years of working experience. Intermediate English or higher level is essential. Working knowledge of Hungarian language will be beneficial.Experience in transition projects is an asset.
