Responsibilities:
- Execute accounting close processes
- Understand and record journal entries from various global entities within the company
- Perform account reconciliations
- Fixed assets records
- Significant communications with other individuals in the global organization
- Apply US GAAP
- Execute control activities in a Sarbanes Oxley compliant organization
- Assist with new process improvements
- Prepare and review financial statements
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting
- Experience as an accounting technician preferred
- Fluent speaking, reading, and writing English
- Knowledge and experience preparing journal entries and reviewing financial statements
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Computer skills:
o MS Office experience necessary, SAP or PeopleSoft experience is a benefit
- Strong analytical skills
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated, dependable person who is dedicated and has a strong work ethic
- Must be able to work in a team environment
