GL Accountant with English

Responsibilities:
On the posiotion of Record to Report Accountant you will be responsible mainly for:
- Closing activities, in compliance with company accounting policies
- Prepare additional month end analysis to support enquiries from the GSS regional centres
- Preparation of journal entries on a monthly basis by collecting necessary data
- Preparing audit trail support
- Posting journal entries and accounting corrections/reclassifications to ensure accurate accounting records
- Coordinate accounting matters with Regional Legal Entity accountants
- Prepare appropriate monthly balance sheet reconciliations with timely follow up on any open or un-reconciled items
- Review, reconcile and confirm all intercompany transactions within the Company
- Assist with preparation of work papers as required by external auditor
- Daily accounting matters
- Complete monthly/quarterly VAT filing
- Undertake ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by management
- Odentify opportunities for process improvements to further streamline accounting tasks, increase efficiency, and shorten month-end close calendar
- Participate in various projects involving our global upgrade of our enterprise accounting and reporting systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business administration
- Minimum three years’ experience of record to report processing
- Knowledge of ERP system (SAP, Oracle)
- Very good English skills required, written and verbal. Additional European language skills will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel)
- Good interpersonal skills, customer focus, good team player
