Leading Refractories Company

For our Client, a leading international producer of refractories for heavy industry, we currently seek an experienced person for the position of:

General Manager in Russia

St Petersburg, Russia

Key responsibilities:

P & L management and leadership responsibility for the entire Russian unit.

Create a sense of urgency and accountability across all functions of the organization; develop the organization to a higher level of effectiveness.

Establish personal industry relationships in keeping with the company's requirements and opportunities.

Establish an annual board-approved strategic plan and operating budget.

Leverage core competencies to significantly grow the company's revenues and profits.

Provide leadership in strategic marketing, sales, and operations planning and translate these plans into action.

Experience required:

Proven track record of refractories industry sales.

Experience within the refractory / steel industry on managerial positions.

Knowledge of hot metal applications.

Good knowledge of technical issues linked with refractories industry.

Fluent Russian and English is a must.

Dynamic person.
