For our Client, we are looking for candidates willing to work on a position of a General Ledger Accountant within brand new department for an international company. The specialist will be responsible for delivery of GL and reporting activities for the European companies.
Daily duties will include activities related to closing of the month, balance sheet reconciliation , accounting entries in General Ledger, and also supporting other accounting activities such as AR. You would be also responsible for preparation of financial statements, periodic reports and analysis reports, including statutory financial statements and reporting for many entities abroad. Furthermore, on this position you will be accountable for completion of annual statutory accounts including first draft financial statements, preparation and booking of journal entries, and completion of working papers as required by external auditors.
To be successful on this position you should have an economic degree and a significant experience in accounting, preferably within a multinational environment, as well as be fluent in English. Exposure to US GAAP reporting and IFRS, as well as Microsoft Office and ERP is required. We are looking for candidates characterized by strong communication and problem-solving skills, motivation to work and both willingness and ability to work in a team.
