Description
Currently, we are looking for a Front-End Developer (React) who will carry out a project for our Client - one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, providing a comprehensive range of financial services to around 60 million customers.
Main tasks
Ensure that efficient program code is produced, meeting definition of done for business requirements stored in a backlog
Maintain and develop good, clear communications and relationships as appropriate with development team members and stakeholders
The role holder, whereas specialised in certain technologies, is expected to extend their technical landscape up to the level the project requires to smoothly operate and deliver shippable software with each iteration
Conduct unit testing of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired results and that the instructions are correct
Provide estimates for development effort based on work already done
Assist and support the implementation of releases, building continuous integration and delivery pipelines
Review code to ensure design and implementation meets agreed criteria and work is of highest quality
Work towards achieving acceptable levels of automation tests coverage
Requirements
Strong experience with JavaScript/Vanilla JS (3+ years)
Advanced/proven React Framework experience
Knowledge/experience of React Native and Native App development desirable
Modern fronted development build tools – Webpack, Babel
Must have experience testing with - preferably using Jest, Enzyme, Sinon
Experience working in Agile development teams
Strong experience of code management/versioning with Git /GitHub
Use of Agile/workflow tools like Jira
Experience with HTML / CSS including pre-processors (mainly SASS/SCSS)
Fluent English
