THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Belgium.

The client is a growing, global producer of bakery ingredients. You will be located in the French-speaking part of Belgium and as such need to know the language. Flexibility is key, as you will be working on multiple plants. The company values teamwork, entrepreneurial spirit and continuous improvement. A good match has to be willing to learn as well as share their expertise!

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a freelancer, you bring your yeast, sourdough or brewery experience in order to improve the production plant of sourdough bread. You're capable of leading and communicating clearly, or you've even had experience with management in the past. A must is experience in an industrial environment - you have really walked around the factory and you understand the processes in-depth. Most importantly, you're full of potential and passion for sourdough/brewery and you can transfer this to your colleagues, both inspiring and educating them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• hitting production targets
• improving the processes in the production
• monitoring and correcting of anything that might come up
• pro-actively sharing experiences to improve the plant
• keeping an eye on product quality

REQUIREMENTS

• Bio-Engineering background, BSc minimum
• 2-5 years of industrial (bakery) experience
• experience in brewing, bakery, sugar or pharmaceuticals
• communicative, patient, willing to explain and elaborate
• leadership skills, convincing communicative skills
• fluent French & English
