On behalf of our Client, international Shared Service Centre in Katowice, we are looking for experienced and motivated individual for the position of:

- supervising the preparation of monthly management accounts
- highlighting areas of concerns, adverse trends or issues that may impact the business
- managing the team – responsible for all processes within the team: revenue assurance, GL and bank reconciliations
- drive the initial design and implementation, and then take ongoing ownership for the continual development of the divisions end to end revenue reconciliation processes
- ensuring the balance sheet is reconciled and controlled effectively through monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations
- overseeing the intercompany reconciliation process for the division through ensuring effective and timely liaison with all relevant stakeholders
- lead project management from a shared service centre perspective to ensure appropriate revenue assurance policies are followed where additional payment providers added to existing markets or for new markets deployments
- work closely with country financial controllers on the appropriate customisation of the group’s new finance system to ensure business performance in core launch markets is clearly understood and an appropriate framework developed to support future business growth
- assisting accounts payable team in accounting queries and providing guidance and support in setting up priorities for the team
- liaising with the external auditors and management of the audit process to agreed standards and time lines
- support and develop the team through regular communication, planning, coaching and performance reviews
- minimum 5 years’ experience as Deputy Chief Accountant/ Financial Controller/ Independent Accountant or Big4 Auditor
- experience in team management will be an asset
- university degree (Finance/ Accounting)
- solid knowledge of accounting processes and controls
- fluent English is a must
- experience in using Oracle would be a plus
- advanced spreadsheet skills
