Client Details
For our client, fast growing and dynamic financial institution, we are looking for Financial Controller. We are looking for a self-motivated and reliable colleague who will be responsible for control of financial and accounting results and their reliability, accuracy and timeliness, preparation of various financial reports, coordination of work and information flow between accounting and finance teams, various company financial projects.
Description
- Monitor the financial and accounting results of the company and maintain their accuracy and reliability;
- Maintain company financial reports and reporting system, prepare various financial reports both on local level and for group purposes;
- Obtain in-depth knowledge of the company's loan data base, monitor the loan database, perform regular reconciliations of financial data in loan system, accounting data and management accounts, educate accountants on matters related to data entries in the loan system;
- Ensure timely, accurate and efficient provision of various accounting reports and operational financial statements;
- Coordinate and manage preparation of audited statutory financial statements, both standalone and consolidated.
- Coordinate smooth, efficient and timely workflow in the local finance and accounting team.
- Participate in various projects related to the development of the group's financial strategy, finance raising and financial results improvement;
- Analyze different financial data, draw conclusions about the results trends and performance drivers, submit proposals for improvement to the management.
- Cooperate with company tax advisors and participate in identification of tax issues, as well as group tax structuring tasks.
- Communicate with external auditors, provide the necessary information for the audit process and monitor audit progress;
- Provide financial and operational information and reports for the regulatory authorities.
- Work in close cooperation with the group finance department and the local accounting team;
Profile
- At least 4 years experience in finance or accounting, prior work in big4 audit or financial sector will be considered as an advantage;
- Working effectively based on matrix structure and principles;
- Fluent English (both verbal and written)
- Solution-oriented type of personality;
- Good communication and people management skills;
- Good teamwork skills;
- Ability to plan, coordinate and prioritize tasks efficiently;
- Strong analytical and logical thinking;
- Very good organizational skills;
- Curiosity, passion for finance and accounting field;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs;
- Understanding of the key shareholder and stakeholder needs from finance and accounting perspective;
- Ability to multitask;
- Attention to detail and ability to see the big picture at the same time.
