We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

 

Financial Business Manager

Location: Kraków

 

 

The candidate will be responsible for managing the IT Infrastructure and Delivery (ITID) Change-the-Bank budget that has been provided by the business. The candidate will partner up with key senior management within the business to understand the projects requesting spend on behalf of ITID. This role’s interest is on behalf of ITID, providing a clear understanding the affordability of the projects and supply ITID has for both FTE and equipment to meet the demand requested by the businesses. The candidate will need to be self-sufficient with strong communication skills to be able to work and negotiate with senior management for proficient funding and timing of projects

 

Key Accountabilities:

Developing and driving strategic target operating model for CTB management

Sponsoring and driving the execution of all work within the roadmap, escalating issues to executive sponsors as needed

Partnering across the organization, forming strong relationships with key teams to drive the strategy and roadmap forward

Ability to apply complex cross departmental processes to business strategies

Uses thorough industry knowledge and understanding of all business unit's functional area or products to sponsor strategic initiatives for the business

Uses analysis and drives solutions to solve complex operations, systems related and/or customer issues with possible financial risk

Compile, analyse and interpret data to make strategic and tactical recommendations for the future support model for teams involved with forecasting on behalf of the business and ITID. Define process improvements options, determine optimal solutions through tactical and strategic recommendations, may involve new policies, procedures and technology solutions

Responsible for leadership of cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity and risk

Compile, analyse and interpret data to make strategic and tactical recommendations for the future support model for business COO and ITID teams

Use analysis to solve complex operational, systems related and/or customer issues with possible financial risk; apply complex cross departmental processes to business strategies

Act as liaison between various business COO and ITID teams, representing the process remediation work stream. This will involve communicating with senior management, by presenting recommendations in a meaningful format and lead change efforts

 

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, finance, business operations, strategic planning within IT Infrastructure environment

5+ years of management experience

Strong knowledge and understanding of the financial, operational, technical and regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment

Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders

Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

Experience with IT strategic planning, governance and management

Experience identifying key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution

Ability to manage large-scale initiatives including stakeholders across business and technical teams

Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals

Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

Experience developing and executing communication strategies by collaborating with large, matrixed teams

Ability to deliver concise time critical information to all levels of management, technology and business teams
