U.S. Corporate and Saginaw Credit Card and Expense Reporting Responsibilities:
- Assist the Corporate Credit Card and Expense Reporting Administrator in the daily processing of expense reports in the Concur system
- Assist the Corporate Credit Card and Expense Reporting Administrator in the processing of credit card applications, credit limit changes, credit card limit audit, credit card issues, etc.
- Provide support for employees with expense report or credit card issues
- Monitor delinquent expense reports and research and troubleshoot expense report issues in Concur
- Perform regular analysis of spending patterns and adjust employee credit limits
- Perform expense report audits and work with Concur to ensure expense reports are audited to Company policy
- Create expense reports for purchases made for the HF Recognition system, and reconcile the expenses to the HF Recognition system
- Produce monthly and ad-hoc reports on travel / expenses for management
- Document internal control procedures and travel / expense procedures
- Regularly audit expense report and credit card internal controls to ensure controls are operating effectively
- Participate in Travel and Expense Policy review and revision
- Assist in the administration of the cell phone reimbursement program
- Assist in the development of training material for Travel and Expense reporting
- Perform hotel analysis to ensure company is receiving preferred hotel rates; system is functioning as required, etc.
- Ad-hoc treasury assignments
Poland Holding Company Responsibilities:
- Cooperation & support with external Accounting Service Provider
- Coordination day to day accounting activities related to the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial instruments, banking operations
- Monitoring the investment in Nexteer Luxembourg Holding IV sarl
- Coordination of day to day tax activities related to CIT (WHT) , VAT and customs / duties
- Coordination of timely and accurate TP documentation preparation. Support the company in dealings with Polish & EU tax authorities (e.g. support tax controls and tax proceedings) & external tax consulting companies. Coordinate / Support Tax and Customs Audits
- Cooperation with PwC regarding tax regulations / changes impacting on the business taxes and communicate them to management
- Working with Global Treasury team to support the cash and financing activities of the company including:
- Completing cash forecast templates
- Managing cash investments consistent with Nexteer"s investment policy
- Support financing transactions such as bank loans, intercompany loans, investments into subsidiaries, and dividends to shareholders
- Assist with preparation of board resolutions and loan agreement documentation
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- Accounting & tax experience in the relevant field gained in a multinational company at least 3 years
- Knowledge of IFRS & Polish Accounting, VAT & CIT Acts
- Experience working with the Concur system preferred but not required
- Experience working with banking systems, credit card systems or expense reporting systems preferred
- Ability to interact effectively with finance and non-finance groups throughout all levels of the organization
- Fluent command of English language in writing and speaking, other languages a plus.
- Good practical knowledge of integrated system (SAP, others)
- Conceptual/big picture thinker but able to apply that to processes and details and perform detailed analysis as required
- Demonstrated analytical ability
- Collaborative approach to problem solving
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to solve problems in a self-reliant manner
