For our Client, one of the world's leaders in theirs industries, we are now looking for a professional, who is able to take a position of General Ledger Accountant. The company is offering great opportunity to develop your carrier path in accounting in the international environment and be important part of the international team.
Financial Accountant will calculate, prepare and post of journal entries, perform the execution of the month-end, quarter-end and the year-end close activities as well as reconcile balance sheets accounts including follow-ups with local finance teams and business partners.You will also participate in various financial projects and providing ad hoc analysis and support Finance Directors and Finance Controllers on daily basis in identifying, defining and implementing process improvements and processes standardisation.
The Ideal Candidate should have university degree in finance and accounting/economy/business administration, strong accounting experience in accounting area (good understanding of AP/AR or GL processes). Professional requirements include analytical skills, passion for detail, reliability, “can do” attitude, goals driven, flexibility, good written and oral communication skills in English and German. Good knowledge of MS Excel, and other MS Office applications. SAP experience would be an advantage.
