For our new Business Centre in Kraków we are currently looking for:
Financial Accountant – Statutory and Fiscal Reporting
Job Purpose:
Performs diverse accounting duties relating to defined aspects of financial accounting and record keeping (statutory accounting, VAT, tax, payroll, pensions etc) for one or more legal entity or country. Supports defined financial compliance and control standards by providing appropriate advice to customers and by ensuring all actions are in compliance with US GAAP and all local statutory accounting and fiscal regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
Hired person will be a member of Statutory and Fiscal Reporting team and will be mainly responsible for VAT reporting, preparation of Financial Statements, preparation of Corporate Income Tax returns, finance related statistic reporting. The role will also involve interacting and coordinating with external auditors, with internal departments like the accounting teams in Belgium, the tax team responsible (located in Belgium and the Netherlands).
Requirements:
• Accounting qualification (either MA Degree is BA Degree in accounting)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting in international organization – handling multiple entities.
• Experience in fiscal and statutory reporting is also required
• Ability to learn a number of different systems and obtain information from a variety of sources.
• Proven experience in compliance and working to strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently with no direct management on site
• Good knowledge in accounting processes
• Excellent communication and coordination skills are required for both internal departments and external bodies.
