Finance Manager (m/f)
The person will be working on the green field project from scratch. The candidate will be part of the top management and will be reported to the General Manager, working independently in the green field organisation and taking responsibility for the accounting and controlling division.
Client Details
For our client, which is part of the large international high-technology group operating in the Aerospace sector, with production sites in several countries throughout Europe, we are looking for an open-minded and ambitious candidates for the position of Finance Manager for the company located in Southern part of Poland. The person will be working on the green field project from scratch. The candidate will be part of the top management and will be reported to the General Manager, working independently in the green field organisation and taking responsibility for the accounting and controlling division.
Description
- Responsible for accounting and controlling of start-up manufacturing site in Poland
- Build of the road map and build the team from scratch to bring the financial department
- Provide and oversee the accounting processes based on the local GAAP and IFRS standard
- Launch the financial processes and procedures into organization taking into account the Group's policy
- Take responsibility for the taxations and cooperate with the tax team for the area
- Manage the financial planning, budgeting and reporting activities (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow estimation)
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly/quarterly/year-end close activities in accordance to the local principles and company policies
- Cooperate with local services providers, auditors, lawyers and banks
- Develop local treasury function and managing cooperation with financial institutions
- Ensure the consolidation reporting requirements
- Monitor performance and efficiency of the business for Poland and interpreting financial information
- Business partnering at the executive level and engages responsibility on every financial or economic topic
- Participate in defeasance or acquisition projects with corporate teams and leads the post-acquisition process in implementing Group Finance policies
Profile
- Master degree (finance, accounting, ACCA or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing function - finance manager or financial controller
- (start-up experience preferable)
- An expert knowledge of Excel
- Self-starter able to learn quickly and organize time effectively
- Strong communication skills and capability to adapt to a demanding environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills,
- Being hands-on, ready to work in a strongly changing environment
- Experience with SAP preferred (SAP implementation experience desirable)
- Fluency in English is a must
