Our client is a professional Medical Devices organization, based in Belgium.
Our client is worlds biggest integrated provider of products and services for the treatment of terminal kidney insufficienty. Through its own network existing of more than 3400 dialysis centers our client treats 300.000 patients worldwide
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Field Service Technician your main responsibility is to perform technical service and maintenance to the medical devices on the location of the customers of our client in Belgium and Luxembourg. The field service technician assures a good follow-up of the services to existing clients and is responsible for the strict execution of the maintenance contracts. For our client it is really important that the field service technician is willing to be available for 24/7 services when on shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• The candidate is able to place, and do maintenance or repair work on medical devices at the customers location
• To realize (test) placements of the medical devices
• Stay in contact with the customer, the sales department and customer service about offers, contracts and reports
• The field service technician secures the progress of an installation and takes action when there are possible problems in the future
• Upgrades and updates of the software and installation of the devices at the customers location being executed or guided
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor in electro mechanics or medical technique or ditto through experience
• 4-6 years minimum experience in a technical maintenance function
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English
• Experience with high quality medical devices and installations in the healthcare industry
• Good technical skills mixed with a sales minded attitude
