Your new company
Danish global production company is launching its Accounting SSC in Poznań. This is a start-up which will present its employees great opportunities of professional development and impact in creation of new SSC.

Your new role
As a FA Team Leader (with English or German) you will be responsible for leading and supporting the team of accounting members and performing the most crucial operational tasks. She/he will carry out recruitment, assessment and development conversations. Leads and coaches a team of accounting clerks to deliver a series of daily tasks ensuring operating procedures are adhered and targets exceeded. Focal point for the total team e.g. at escalations during the daily process. Manage stakeholder relationships.

General Ledger processes: Compliant handling of the general ledger, period close (plan and execute, including monitoring outbound invoicing and revenue recognition) and all engagements related hereto, which involves natural interaction with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders. You will also perform maintenance of fixed assets & FX exposure (including reporting) in compliance with internal policies, SLA and external legislation.

Accounts Payable processes: Compliant handling of the accounts payable, period close (form and execute) and all engagements related hereto, which involves natural interaction with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders. You will also correct and timely process vendor invoices and employee expense claims and subsequent (overdue) reporting.

Accounts Receivable processes: Compliant handling of the accounts receivable period close (form and execute) and all engagements related hereto, which involves natural interaction with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders. You will also manage and report credit risks, timeliness and correctness of customer payments (& discounts) including reporting in compliance with internal policies, SLA and external legislation.

The responsibilities also include preparation of audit files and facilitation internal and external auditions. Identification of process improvements, participation in transition projects, maintenance of internal controls

What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate will be ready to take part in the migration process, will have advanced accounting and ERP systems knowledge and at least 5 years of working in AP or AR or GL, including 1-2 years of people leadership experience. Advanced English is a must, German language will be a strong asset. A second foreign language and experience in transition projects will be an asset.
