Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As European Key Account Manager, you are the B2B link. Because of your experience in food ingredients, you bring B2B know-how and negotiation skills to the table. You maintain existing relations and build new ones, so you share responsibility for setting up and following up on business development. Price negotiations, the details of payment and other terms and conditions will be up to you to set. You always strive for improvement and growth and actively work together with sales, purchasing, product development and operations colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining relations and building new ones
• Close cooperation with multiple department, communicative personality
• Anticipating market and price changes, responding beforehand
• Pro-active approach to sales
• Sparring with clients on prices, terms and conditions
• Setting and following up on long term business development

REQUIREMENTS

• Master or Bachelor of Science, in Food Technology or similar
• Experience in a B2B Food environment, preferably in technical sales
• Experience with fresh produce is a plus
• Fluent Dutch and English, German is a plus
• Willing to internationally travel up to 30% of the time
