THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in West-Vlaanderen Belgium.
For our client in the food and beverages industry we are currently looking for a engineering manager.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a engineering manager you will be responsible for the engineering department and al the projects regarding engineering. The engineering manager also writes the long term plant engineering strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You translate the plant vision, AOP, strategy, and the companies code of conduct into actions and plans.
- You lead and own allocated Capital Projects from inception through to handover ensuring key phasing of Projects are identified and worked to, with compliance to project management business process systems and technical/engineering standards
- You ensure all the capital projects are managed with absolute clarity and accuracy specifically via period update (tracked/reported and controlled) throughout the project lifecycle:
- Engineering Drawings / Specifications
- Financial Control / Management
- Project time plan
REQUIREMENTS
* Industrial engineering degree Translate business strategy in departmental strategies (3Y), action plans and business processes
* Excellent understanding processes in the food processing industry, experience in a beverage production environment is desirable
* Excellent planning and organisation skills - Ability to handle multiple work streams over parallel project timelines (individual projects varying between 3-12 months length)
* Managing turnkey industrial projects
* Min. 7 years of experience in the processing industries
* Experience in technical concept as e.g. utility distribution systems, automation concept, process technologies
* Fluent in Dutch and English
