Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Belgium.
This food multinational is located in Brussels. They are a B2B producer with more than 45 production plants over the entire world. Employing more than 9000 employees they serve the entire food industry, aiming to ensure good service while focussing on entrepeneurship and teamspirit.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Investing more in their packaging department they are expanding their team for the coordination of the EMEA packaging strategy coordination. Being an essential asset of the R&D department, you will be working together in a team of 6 Packaging Development Engineers to support and guide different local teams of packaging engineers on different production sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and implementing new packaging strategies
- Support, guide and educate local teams of engineers
- Working with different internal departments and external stakeholders, like marketing, quality and supply chain
- Working on multiple packaging projects
- Optimizing different packaging lines
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in Food Science, Food Technology or Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
- 3-6 years of experience as a packaging engineer in the food/fmcg industry
- Well developed communication and team playing skills
- Fluent in English
