Opis stanowiska

Job Description:


To advise in-company and customers with regard to design and specifications of electrotechnical installations, necessary safety precautions and calculations during engineering to order process and also in after sales situations, in accordance with
company guidelines and procedures, to reach a for all parties
involved acceptable solution for complex technical issues.

The person is is responsible for:

1. Consultancy
To visit, inform and advise in-company and/or customers and/or third parties – representing the company as a technical consultant - at all organisational levels up to and including general management about technical possibilities of products, systems and services during engineering to order process and in after sales within the given authority level and in close co-operation with sales management, in order to build up and maintain strong relationships.


2. Design
To review and discuss customer’s specifications and after approval of the global system lay-out to design custom made systems (mechanical, electrical, safety and control systems, scada and PLC software applications, programming of safety relais) in accordance with engineering principles and (inter)national standards, and furthermore to execute and supervise various projects parallel in order to secure timely delivery and good quality of systems delivered.


3. Problem Solving
To analyse electrical and/or mechanical faults and to advise customers about possible technical solutions with regard tot complete (company own or competitive) systems, in close co-operation with sales management in order to solve customer’s problems without endangering the company’s image or financial position.


4. Commissioning
To execute commissioning in close cooperation with Field Service, whereby the design originates from the Application Engineer, all in line with procedures like FAT (factory acceptance test) and SAT (site acceptance test) and company own procedures and guidelines as well as e.g. environmental, health and safety procedures on site, with if necessary last possibility to correct the system, in order to ensure that customer receives a well performing system.


5. Product/Process improvement
To investigate cost saving (new) technologies and working methods, within the technical working area, in order to optimize products and processes and after approval of management to write and implement new procedures with regard to quality and safety.

6. Documentation
To write various kinds of technical documents with regard to design, testing, commissioning and delivery, in line with general accepted standards in Engineering, in order to assure that the customer specifications are met upon delivery.


7. Administration
To administer all relevant information according to the company’s guidelines, in order to assure timely availability for management and colleagues.

Wymagania




We require you to have min. BSc. Electrical Engineering education and knowledge of:

(LVS and MVS) Systems and technology
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Synthetic Materials and Physics
Engineering, Calculation and Manufacturing methods
Safety and Control systems
(Inter)national standards
Customer specifications and demands
Computer and installed software
Good English skills
