THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
Our client is an independent organisation ensuring the quality of the plants from various growers. This is done in regards to flowers, vegetables and trees. Currently they are looking to strengthen their organisation with a diagnostic researcher.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The goal of the job is to assist the growers in problems they encounter when growing the plants. The diagnostic researcher will have to enter discussions with the client to find out what is wrong with the plant. Therefore good knowledge of virusses/diseases and the circumstances in which to grow the plants is necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining contact with external clients but also internal stakeholders;
- Collaborating with the R&D team and people in the laboratory for the purposes of research;
- Setting up project plans and drafting reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hbo/BSc working level in agricultural environment;
- Knowledge of plant varieties and common diseases/virusses and crop protection methods;
- Speak the Dutch language, English is a pré.
