Demand Planner
Location: BelgiumMember of the inventory planning team, responsible for ensuring high quality of service in all demand planning related activities for designated product portfolio.
• Ensuring timely and accurate execution of core processes related to Demand Planning for designated product families
• Organize EMEA S&OP meetings:
o Document process, formats & templates in conjunction with ID
o Develop method & tools for country input
o Work in close collaboration with both country & European sales & marketing teams to gather input
o Prepare agenda, keep detailed meeting minutes & action items
• Prepare Forecast submission in APO
• Participate in weekly review meetings with supply planners to ensure alignment
• Generate KPI’s (Forecast accuracy, bias, etc) on a monthly basis
• Identify and propose process improvements (continuous improvement) to increase the productivity or cost-efficiency without jeopardizing quality compliance
• Follow-up and proactive escalation of GTS (regulatory) blocks to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Manage the affiliates consigned inventory at sales rep and customer location to properly balance service levels and costs
• Accountability:
o Forecast Accuracy
o Service Levels
o KPI performance: Achieve or beat EMEA DIOH and Scrap targets on quarterly basis
o QA compliance measured through internal and external audits
• University degree, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, in a broad EDC role, preferably in the medical industry
• Detailed knowledge of a major ERP system (SAP preferred)
• Proven results in supply chain environment
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken; other languages are an asset
• Expert knowledge in standard office desktop computer applications such as excel, access, etc.
• Project management skills
• Experience with Lean tools and methodology is an asset
• Team player and customer orientation
• Strong communications skills, oral and written, including presentation skills
• Flexibility, including work schedules and travel
• Strong drive to promote a continuous improvement culture
