THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
The company is looking for a strong database programmer who can strengthen their IT team. The company is specialized in the protein sector for food production. They are active in more than 25 countries, and have more than 3500 employees worldwide.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Database Programmer you will be a member of the IT group of the company. You will be, together with the team, be responsible for the development, support and maintenance of all applications. In collaboration with the business needs you will develop and implement the new database applications. When needed you will also take part in other IT related projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, Support and Maintain the IT applications
- You will also be responsible for the new database applications, adjusted to the business needs
- You will follow trainings to develop and maintain your expertise in selected database programming tools
- Help out with other IT projects when needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree in IT (e.g. Computer Science, Informatics)
- Fluent in English, good knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus
- 3-5 years' experience with database programming in Oracle
- Work experience with SQL programming
- Previous experience in the Life Sciences industry is a big plus
