Currently, we are looking for a Database Administrator who will carry out a project for our Client - one of the industry’s most respected and acclaimed suppliers and game's providers for some of the world’s biggest operators.

Main tasks
- Monitor, configure and optimise databases.
- Cooperate with other teams like BI, backend etc..
- Ensure that databases are backed up and recoverable including testing restoration.
- Maintain technical and solution architecture and documentation.
- Share expertise across the team and follow best practices.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience
- Strong proficiency in MySQL
- Big plus: MariaDB database management
- Hands-on experience with recent versions of MySQL
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL statements
- Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
- Good communication skills
- Communicative English (both written and spoken)
- Creativity
Optional skills
- Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc
- Familiarity with Git
- Percona toolkit
- Cassandra
