For a USA Company we are building in Krakow/Zabierzow IT support team (30 specialists).
As the Senior Database Administrator (DBA) you use your database management skills to improve efficiencies within the Database team. You use database software to store and manage information and set up database systems to improve efficiency. You maintain security and integrity controls, formulate policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management.
Technical Highlights: Oracle DBA team currently managing 230+ Oracle databases and 275+ MySQL databases in a virtualized environment running on Linux Red Hat and Unix/AIX.
We require 5+ years database experience in Oracle or SQL Server. We need administrator working previously in environment with 100’s of instances and 1000’s of Databases across Oracle, MySQL and SQL Server on a large number of multiple locations and Datacenter. We expect you to have degree in Computer Science and speak fluent English. DBA must be willing to work extended hours – nights and weekends as needed and willing to travel: Europe (less than 5%) and US once a year.
