What we expect from you:
- Proven 5 years work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist or similar role
- An excellent communicator with senior stakeholders, peers and reports (conversational and presentational)
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand and articulate customer needs in business and more technical vocabulary
- Experience managing relationships within a large, multinational, matrix organisation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on being clear and concise
- Strong analytical skills and appreciation of coding languages, data sources, data matching and data acquisition
- S/he should be proficient in query writing and have exposure to working on R/Python codes as well as understanding of HIVE tool.
- Proven experience with Dataiku
- Exposure to Web Analytics tools
- Comfortable with large datasets and Big Data environments
What would be a plus:
- Understanding of consumer data, retailer data and media data
- CRM background having exposure to email/sms campaigns as well as alternate messenger platforms like Whatsapp, Line etc.
- Experience briefing into a technical/specialist team with their own vocabulary/frames of reference
- Experienced in project planning and forecasting demand
- Experience executing personalised communications & tracking the impact of different personalisation techniques to drive business value
- Experience co-ordinating the introduction of a new internal service or capability at a major organisation.
- Passion for the social & digital world and its implications for business
- Good working knowledge of digital media including programmatic ideally
- Previous experience: Business Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Statistical Modelling
