Your role and responsibilities:
As a part of busy, rapidly growing team, you will be responsible for:
> extract, clean and manipulate large datasets (both structured and unstructured) for model building;
> provide research and insights incorporating Big Data;
> data modelling;
> share insights with groups across the company;
> work with technical development teams to implement statistic solutions;
> support company’s clients in executing recommendations and overcoming the challenges that may come with the new processes.
Essential skills for this role:
> very strong background (+5 years) in one or more areas: Computer Science, Econometrics, Statistics (or relevant);
> at least 1 year of professional Data Science experience (unstructured and structured datasets, knowledge of big data technologies);
> excellent programming skills: R, Python, SAS preferably;
> knowledge of statistical modelling and modern machine learning;
> experience in NoSQL database (e.g. MongoDB) and Relational database (e.g. Oracle);
> good data visualization skills;
> fluency in English (both written and spoken);
> Master’s degree.
It would be nice to have:
> knowledge of Agile Development Methodology;
> experience with Spark or Hadoop;
> experience with Cloud Computing (AWS).
