For our Client, well-recognised manufacturer of construction materials, we are currently looking for a person interested in the role of Data Center Infrastructure Specialist.
Your new role
Holding this position you will join a high performance team that is driven, innovative and packed with self-motivated individuals. As a part of the team you will be responsible to support the day-to-day operations within the Data Center department, specialized on maintain and administrate the virtual environment. What is more, your duties will also include maintain and administrate physical server infrastructure, system monitoring and performance tuning. Additionally, you will have opportunity to be 3rd Level support.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Candidate you need to possess University degree in computer science/engineering or related field as well as professional experience in IT infrastructure subjects. Moreover, we are looking for a candidate with highly experienced in VMWare tech. product line and candidate with experience in other infrastructure services related to virtualization. Knowledge related to Microsoft Windows Server administration, VMWare vSphere administration, strong expertise in vMotion, HA, DRS, VDS, Affinity rules, vCenter, storage migrations, P2V migrations, VMWare ESX Server administration, VMWare Software patching, firmware updates of physical devices (server, tape library, etc.), PowerShell scripting is also required from you. Experienced with VDI deployment will be also requirement. If you have skillful at Microsoft and VMWare Certifications or Storage (SAN) Managment, it will be considered as your addition al asset. Very good English is a must.
