Johnson Matthey Battery Systems is Europe’s leading independent designer and manufacturer of lithium-ion battery systems. We deliver individual battery solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as high volumes of batteries for e-bikes, power tools and mobile technologies. We also offer battery solutions for stationary energy storage applications.
Customer Service Project role requires representative person which is customer friendly, motivated and driven to support the customer. He/she is a team player and forms with sales manager face to the customer of Johnson Matthey Battery Systems .
In that role you will:
- Respond to customer complaints, requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Process with forecasts send by the customers
- Process with offers, order confirmations, orders of shipping, delivery notes, invoices as well as Storno invoices and Credit Notes
- Keep track on product life cycle with proper documentation of selling price and cost price development
- Manage customer demand i.e. verify call off’s and translate this in ERP with logistics support throughout supply chain in order to manage a low stock level of material and finished goods
- Manage customers' accounts
- Keep records of customer interactions, transactions and price calculations
- Coordinate pricing administration process
- Support the planning of the production
Requirements:
- Higher Education – Technical or Economy
- Relevant experience of at least 3 years in dealing with customers
- Very good knowledge of English (both spoken and written)
- Knowledge of German would be an advantage
- Working experience of MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Prepared to travel and visit customers mainly in Europe
- Understanding of New Product Development in an ISO 9001 , ISO TS
- Financial understanding in order to analyse revenue per customer, cost price calculation, determining selling prices with sales managers
- Knowledge & understanding of appropriate safety regulations including UN/ECE standards.
