Cross-Border Banking Operations Specialist

Settlement Operations is at the heart of the CORE service offered by Euroclear. As such you will be in contact with different intermediaries:
- We have indirect contact with clients, mostly via the settlement first line.
- We are in direct contact with the depositaries as well as the local market.
- We are in contact with many other internal departments sometimes as a client (Network, Treasury, New Issues, Corporate Actions, ...).
Your part of the deal:
- Monitoring of Cross-Border markets: follow up on market functioning, monitoring of cash and securities as well as manually processing for the non STP instructions.
- Demonstrate risk awareness in managing the day to day operations, be ready to learn and demonstrate an escalation management attitude.
- Contribute to identification as well as the resolution of daily issues/TIP issues.
- Show client focus attitude in assisting our colleagues from the first line as well as the account managers in commercial.
- Demonstrate a critical mindset, while being constructive. Helping to take us to the next level.
Your profile:
- Good analytical skills
- Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written
- Open to challenges and able to produce accurate work
- Ability to work against daily deadlines
- Client focused attitude with excellent communication skills
- Team player, flexible (shifts) and risk aware
- Resistant to stress
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
- Previous experience in an operational environment is an asset
