THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
The company is a large player in the food industry, with 4 sites across the Netherlands.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Corporate Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for developing the QA strategy and implementing this across the various sites. You will set targets about quality performance and monitor progress towards reaching these targets. As part of this, you will participate in various continuous improvement projects. In this role, you will lead a team of 5 people and report to the CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team of 5 people.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term QA policies.
- Optimise and standardise QA processes, systems and work instructions.
- Organise the audit plan and support/carry out audits.
- Liaise with external parties, such as clients, suppliers and authorities.
- Handle client questions and complaints.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 8 years of experience with QA in the food industry.
- Experience with managing a team.
- Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, IFS, GMP and AIB.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
