Key role in driving Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives in SSC with focus on operational effectiveness, efficiency, service levels, quality and compliance. Additionally responsibility for establishing an effective and sustainable site-wide CI culture.
Your new role
Main objective of role is to contributes to the development and execution of CI strategy, plans, initiatives, and goals in support of the company vision, values, strategies, and plan. Establish and maintain a CI structure at leadership level, including establishing Lean Daily Management Systems, to create more focus on driving CI. Support cost efficiencies and quality improvement activities through the use of Lean Six Sigma practices, new and/or enhanced technologies and automation. Initiate and maintain a portfolio of CI initiatives and provide ongoing coaching and guidance to implementation teams. Coordinates with the SSC Leaders and various stakeholders to ensure that the projects, blitzes and activities in the CI Plan are completed effectively and timely, using proven methodology (Lean/Six Sigma) and be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Provides strategic support to new and ongoing projects associated with: organization effectiveness, core capabilities development and process improvement and participates in projects appointed by management.
What you'll need to succeed Minimum of 5 years of hands-on CI experience with a proven track record for developing, training, and coaching company leadership and employee teams in a continuous improvement environment. Bachelor in Engineering or BA/BS in a similar technical/operations discipline and Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Experience managing projects of varying complexity and strong experience in the design, development, and implementation of SSC processes. Excellent written and verbal English and strong analytical and leadership skills are essential as well.
