THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.

This client is part of an international Food giant, specializing in the production, development and marketing of natural food ingredients. As one of the key players in the European sugar market, they intend to strengthen that position. Sustainability, advancement and growth are key pillars, following which you wil work.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Together with a team of specialists, you will continue to strive for sustainable growth. You will be responsible for leading the commercial team, consisting of 12 FTE. Besides managing Key Accounts, you will cooperate closely with multiple departments to oversee the market development. You advise the board, fill gaps where necessary and hold final responsibility for the commercial actions. In the end, you really are the face of the company towards key clients and strategic partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Holding a position in the management team
• Developing and exercising the strategy of the Commercial Team (12 FTE)
• Key Account Management of the strategic partners
• Close cooperation with the R&D and Operations departments regarding the new product development
• Keeping a close eye on the market, advising the board of directors about the business course

REQUIREMENTS

• Academic level, minimum Bachelor. Preferably in Food Science, Food Technology or Chemical Engineering
• International experience in a B2B environment, both in the ingredient and retail market
• Insight in the development of the international food industry
• Fluent in Dutch, English, German. Knowledge of French is a plus
