As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the definition and design of cloud infrastructure solutions.
If you want to:
- Define and design solution architectures to achieve cost effective, high quality infrastructure.
- Ensure all solution architectures support the needs for recover-ability, availability, performance, manageability and security.
- Provide architecture governance and be the subject matter expert on cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure all delivery project design stages have achievable "to-be" solution architectures before moving to build and operate stages.
- Ensure high quality and consistent architecture documentation exists for all existing and new solutions.
And this is a description of your skills:
- Amazon Web Services Certified Solution Architect/ Expert in AWS infrastructure services.
- At least 3 years' experience architecting solutions within AWS/Azure/Google services with 5 years of physical infrastructure management.
- Proven hands on experience of cloud management platform operation and associated automation/orchestration tools.
- Broad experience on business, development, data/integration and infrastructure projects.
- Experienced in automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet and Lambda and their application in an AWS environment.
- Experience in designing internet facing solution architectures on Amazon Web Services.
- Experience in working with distributed teams, with product and software architecture specialists.
- Experience in operating in an ITIL driven service management environment, with experience in complying with change and problem management.
- Experience of working with systems that hold personal data and which are operated in compliance with European data processing rules.
- Experience of working with senior business stakeholders, shaping thinking and strategy.
