For our Client, well-known international company operating within medical industry with its office located in Wrocław we are looking for IT Product Owner
Your new role
As the Product Owner: Cloud Platform you will be responsible for the roadmap, development and operations of our client’s public Cloud Platform. From 2019, our client will adopt a Cloud First strategy and reduce its data centre and server room footprint to a minimum. This strategy requires to have a robust, secure and compliant public cloud platform that can host cloud-ready applications
The Product Owner: Cloud Platform will manage a 5/6 person DevOps team, practising Agile, based in Wroclaw, who will develop and operate a DevOps tool chain (Jira, GIT, deployment pipelines, config and compliance, functional and security testing) and provide core cloud platform services from IAM, Accounts, virtual networks, platform and infrastructure templates. The Product Owner will need to balance the needs of Product and Project Teams with demand to pay down technical debt, automate operational tasks, close InfoSec and Compliance control gaps.
The Product Owner will create a customer-centric culture that: supports self-service autonomy of other Product teams whilst providing guard rails to protect our client; provides insight and uses techniques such as gamification to develop best practice in platform use; and drives continuous improvement through hypothesis-based testing. The Product Owner will be responsible for optimal consumption of public cloud services and should be capable of managing operational expense
What you'll need to succeed
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years with an IT leadership role with similar breadth and responsibilities with a Global enterprise
- 2 to 3 years' expertise in Agile methods such as SCRUM and Kanban and leading an Agile development team - 1 to 2 years' expertise in DevOps and continuous delivery and high cadence releases
- 2 to 3 years' experience of building services on AWS (preferred) or Azure
- 5-6 years' experience of IT Infrastructure including virtualisation, storage, networks, automation and monitoring tooling - Experience of engaging with and supporting application development teams and their use of infrastructure
- Running Major Incidents, Crisis Management and Business Recovery
Competences:
- Strong knowledge of IaaS, PaaS services from AWS and/or Azure, software-defined infrastructure practices and tooling including security integration and monitoring
- Strong knowledge of IT Service Management operating models for infrastructure (ITIL)
- Strong knowledge of server migration strategies and execution best practices
Personal Qualities:
- Leadership skills, excellent communication skills, team player and able to build strong relationships

You should be also ready to travel in 10%-25% time of your work.
