For one of our Client's a global manufacturer located in Slatina, we are searching for a Chief Accountant. The position will report directly to the Regional CFO.
Your new role
You will manage day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with the organisation's accounting policies and procedures, direct and monitor a variety of accounting activities to ensure that country’s financial resources are managed in accordance with accounting principles and comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards. These activities may include accounts payable and receivable; general ledger maintenance; financial analysis and statutory reporting, and asset accounting. Also, you will ensure accuracy and correctness for IFRS and local statutory and tax relevant reports, select, and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisory (for example auditors) to ensure satisfactory standards of service and lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure that accounting activities are completed accurately and on time.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to have proficiency in SAP (FI- SD-CO-MM) modules, experience in dealing with Service centres for the outsourced activities, in manufacturing industry. English language is a must.
Please note that this job is located in Slatina, therefore relocation (if the case) will be necessarily.
