Category Manager

Capgemini Business Services department is one of the first and the biggest outsourcing centers in Poland providing services in 30 different languages in the areas of: finance, accounting, banking, procurement, customer care and marketing services. Business Services employs over 4000 specialists in its offices located in Krakow and Katowice.
Main accountabilities
- Responsible for Sourcing and Category Management, Contract Management and Procurement Automation for several contracts covering direct and indirect spend
- Category Management:
- Management for several Material Framework Agreements, covering commercial evaluation, negotiating terms and conditions & pricing
- Ensure adherence to Procurement Standard through effective Supplier Relationship Management and Business Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and Drive Supplier Relationship Management Frameworks. Conduct Vendor evaluation and prepare vendor performance scorecards. Conducting Supplier Quality Meetings for better alignment between Business and Suppliers
- Lead automation drive and spend analysis to explore consolidation and cost saving opportunities
- Perform Material Spend mapping and Analysis for onboarding of materials outside contract spend thereby contributing towards Global Automation Transformation targets
- Act as a Lead for Sourcing Projects
- Category Intelligence:
- Deliver Market analysis of various categories within oil and gas industry which includes supply, demand and commodity price trends, market dynamics to aid category strategy formulation
- Supplier Intelligence:
- Provide supplier background through statistics such as supplier stability, supplier’s immediate business environment, spend data, contracts
- Spend Analysis
- Analyze spend data to identify potential negotiation opportunities
- Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience with:
- Project Procurement
- Category Management
- Contract Management
- Global Sourcing
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Good command of English
- Working experience with SAP, Ariba sourcing and e-procurement tools
- Experience in BPO environment will be an asset
- University or college degree, technical background or experience within Oil & Gas industry will be an asset
- Good decision-making skills
- Good computer literacy, easily learns new applications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills, attention to deail
