On behalf of our Client, SSC from shipping industry in Tricity, we are looking for Candidates for the position of Cargo Planner.
Your new role
Working in this position you will be mainly responsible for ensuring that all legislative and port requirements are met to enable loading of cargo to booked vessels. You will also monitor and deal with all issues arising and ensure that all information is in place (internally and externally) to allow containers to be received and loaded as per bookings. What is more, you will collect and communicate all required cargo / vessel information prior to vessel arrival, update ports systems, communicate with partner lines if required and send load list / manifest to the terminal, port authorities and vessel operator.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should be fluent English speaker. Furthermore, highly developed analytical skills and ability to generate effective and innovative solutions is required. Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics would be an advantage.
