Buyer
Location: Warsaw

The Buyer is responsible for analyzing market trends, building appropriate assortments, and developing key items.

Responsibilities:
•Negotiation with suppliers regarding pricing and any modifications required, ongoing management of supplier relationships
•Creation the range of products for stores, considering category/product mix, pricing, margin and stock management,
•Analysis of all samples that are provided
•Constant analysis of sales to determine the most appropriate type of product for the chain of stores
•Management of the product ordering process and of quality control
•Analysis of global and local fashion trends in order to be able to predict customer preferences several months ahead

Skills/qualifications required:
•Passion for fashion apparel and an entrepreneurial spirit
•Strategic ability, and desire to drive the part of the business you own
•Strong business and financial savvy
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail buying experience
•Sound understanding of fashion industry
•Minimum of 2 years buying or purchasing experience in the fashion sector on similar positions (Buying, Merchandising)
•Excellent English communication skills
•Skills in building effective relations with suppliers
•Accurate numerical and analytical skills
•Higher education, preferably in related field
•Strong communication and negotiation skills
•Creativity and independence
•Negotiation, persuasive and presentational skills
•Orientation towards sales results, reacting to market and clients needs
•Understand product cost components, ROI metrics, and item pricing /marketing strategies
