HRO Personnel is a Human Resources service provider operating under numer 6696. We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

 

Business Finance Expert with German

 

Key Accountabilities:

• Prepare Business Finance reporting

• Prepare variance analysis and provide in-sights into figures

• Support ad-hoc activities and in-country team enquiries

• Provide expertise to in-country and GFC teams

• Developing strong working relationships with other finance teams and business area representatives

• Being point of contact for the team

• Acting as manager’s back-up

• Ensure accuracy and data integrity in the end-to-end financial reporting process by ensuring compliance with the internal control requirements and assessing the adequacy in the changing environment.

• Continually work on improving the level of automation by working closely within and across teams to identify solutions to improve the timeliness and accuracy of the reporting and minimize manual intervention.

• Continually asses the operational risk inherent in the process, taking account of changing operational procedures, staff movements, legal and regulatory requirements.

 

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and German language

• Minimum 6 years relevant accounting/reporting experience

• Banking/Insurance/Financial Services industry experience will be an asset

• Project management experience will be an asset

• University degree in finance related discipline

• In - depth knowledge of management accounting and budgeting process

• Knowledge of Banking environment will be a plus

• Understanding of GL systems and reporting software

• Professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA) will be a plus

• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Access (VBA will be plus)

• Strong analytical ability, tenacity, and sound commercial judgment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines

• Demonstrate the ability to work with people at all levels

• Good planning and organizational skills, with ability to adapt to changing environment
