Our client is a professional Biotechnology, Food and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
They are a global leader in environmental and pharmaceutical product testing, currently an emerging player in clinical diagnostic testing. They have over 25.000 employees and are located in 40 countries.
You will work here as a Business Analyst.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the connection between business and IT. You will be analysing and describing the business processes running and creating business proposals for optimisation. Your daily job consists of making gap-analyses between processes and IT applications and in addition you will be communicating and collaborating with internal customers. This to analyse information and functional needs to deliver the following artefacts as needed: Business Requirements, User Requirements, User Stories, among others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities as a Business Analyst are:
- Setting up LIMS, containing models to fit the process
- Collaborating with the Development team
- Training Key Users and Users
- Alignment of processes combined the elaboration of working instructions
- Ensuring that Key Users know how to use LIMS in common used cases
- Analysis of the process, the working instructions and usage of key users within LIMS
REQUIREMENTS
The job requirements for the position Business Analyst are:
- 4-7 years of experience in IT with a focus on business analysis
- Experience in ERP, LIMS and Agile is a must and other lab processes a plus
- Background in infrastructure and information technology
- Previous experience in SQL (Database programming). Preferred knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008
- Preferably knowledge of BPMN and UML
- Able to influence key business partners and stakeholders
- Excellent business analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Open to travel for projects (20-30%)
