Business Analyst
Location: KrakowWe are a team building software components for enterprise middle-office applications in Java on Linux and Windows platforms. Team is distributed in few locations in Europe. Application is directly connected with over 40 exchanges over the world and is a core of the multi-system environment and is responsible for order management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will have to consistently demonstrate initiative, collaboration and strong teamwork skills. He/she will think out of the box and add value to discussions. He/she will need to collaborate with many external teams to collect information in the domain, analyze it and prepare for team internal use.
Responsibilities:
- Elicitation of Requirements through conversations with stakeholders.
- Analyzing Requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous.
- Specifying Requirements in a format that can be shared with stakeholders and used within team to development.
- Validating and Verifying Requirements
- Assisting the team in business domain related tasks
- Change management - working with team to ensure SDLC processes are followed and assist in representing changes on daily CAB calls
- Working with Dev/BA's to ensure conformance is successfully passed as and when mandated by exchanges,
SKILLS
MUST
- Team player with good interpersonal/communication skills
- Ability to interpret business requirements for system architects, developers, testers, support analysts, application analysts
- Ability to participate in Acceptance Testing to ensure that technical solution meets the requirements
- Requirements management (analysis, gathering, tracking, validation, documenting)
- Managing configuration of the application according to the requirements
- Maintaining development process within the team
- Providing business knowledge/context to the team by assisting, consulting, training etc.
- Providing L3 Support for developers, QA and Business
- Maintaining communication between business stakeholders and the team
- Building good client relationship
NICE TO HAVE
- Exchange connectivity experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of the FIX protocol (4.x+) highly desirable
- Basic PL/SQL development
- Experience of working with real-time transactional databases
- Business knowledge of Cash Equities
- Business knowledge of Front/Back office processes (e.g. the lifecycle of a trade)
