Business Analyst
Miejsce pracy: GdyniaWe are offering a Business Analyst position for new and challenging project. You will work in a diverse, highly international environment with ambitious people, working agile, determined to reach our common goal to meet the unique needs of our customers. We will build up a new competence area for Customer & Counterparty and you will be located on site together with approximately 15 new colleagues working with systems to prevent financial crime. You will be part of a team of developers, business analysts and testers that will be co-located with you in Gdynia, furthermore you will cooperate closely with your Nordic colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and capturing requirements, tracking changes, identifying risks and issues to escalate appropriately, engaging stakeholders to solve problems and help them to understand project scope
- Be embedded within the full project life cycle, liaising directly with the business, the developers, operational teams and testers delivering analysis and support
- Work proactively, in close cooperation with product owners, to ensure ‘great experience’ in customers’ interactions
- Provide technical advice, assistance, collect and share information across the teams
- Drive for continuous improvements, encourage and lead the change and strive for technical excellence
- Mentor and promote best practice to other team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related subject
- Minimum 2-3 years of well-grounded practice in business analysis area
- Experience in understanding complex problems and translating them to user stories that can be used for development
- Knowledge of full cycle of IT systems, from idea to production
- Strong understanding of Agile software development from requirements to final quality assurance
- Experience from the financial industry is a plus, work within risk or compliance areas considered a merit
- Very good English skills
- Knowledge of Polish language is a must
- Some IT background particularly with databases
- Experience preferably with more detailed expertise in the following fields among them: pricing experience, contracts, statements and other correspondence experience, limit Mgmt, credit risk experience, origination experience, state machine experience
