Your new organisation:
One of the leaders in the European milling and baking sectors, which operates in Poland, Belgium, Nederland’s, Czech Republic, Romania and Turkey.
Your role:
As Business Analyst you make the bridge between business and IT. You do this by acquiring a good knowledge of the business processes and the functionalities of the different business applications. You will be responsible to design, manage and continuously improve the companys’ best practice business applications for plant operations within the domains of technical service, production, materials management and product specifications. You will also watch over the integrations points with the logistic, automation, quality & finance processes. You will work on group level; this implies that you will be involved in the support of all plants within companys’ and group-wide projects.
We are currently implementing 2 strategic projects. This is a maintenance excellence program within the technical service department and a process assurance program within the production department.
- You take the lead on certain tracks within these projects. You manage from A-Z all aspects within the project to make it a success (analysis, write-out technical specifications, follow-up system development, write-out test scenario’s, perform unit testing, organize & assist in user acceptance testing, document the processes & system, training & support key-users)
- You are in charge of the system solution within your domain. You analyze the needs and demands of key users and you organize this information in an action plan with proposals for solutions. You implement the solutions within the IT application in line with our best practice model
- You are the first point of contact for business key users regarding support and various enhancements in the domains you are assigned to
- You inform & train your “community” of new developments and optimisations
- You build a strong relation with the business stakeholders
On group level, you work with your colleagues in the IT Competence Center and you will report to the competence center Lead. The Group operates in different European countries ( Belgium, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland and Turkey) . Your job includes regular short trips abroad.
Key to success:
- You have a Master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
- You have experience in an active role in SAP or MES projects. Knowledge of SAP PM (EAM), MM or PP is a plus.
- You have a sincere interest in all roles & activities within a production plant.
- You have an analytical mind, process-oriented and you are a conceptual thinker.
- You are results- and goal-oriented and never lose sight of deadlines.
- You are service-minded and you like to communicate in English with various stakeholders.
- You like to share knowledge and you are able to bring the message in a clear way to a broad audience.
- Expertise in change management is a plus
- You’re willing to travel in a frequent way (15%)
