Our client is a renewable energy investment and development company mainly focused on biogas projects in Poland. Company projects are based on both industrial and agricultural wastes / substrates and vary between 850 KW and 2MW. The company has acquired a new strategic partner who will strengthen the company with experience in other CEE markets and a reference list of over 20 completed installations outside Poland. As a part of strategic growth we are looking for a Project Manager who will take responsibility for handling projects from initiation to handover.
Project Manager will ensure the overall direction, coordination and adequate implementation of industrial and agricultural biogas projects in Poland;control timing and costs of each project, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals;ensure the adequate management of projects and market contracting of substrates and services.
Key responsibilities will include: business development tasks such as identifying and securing new projects and sites, writing proposals, formulating and coordinating tender consortiums, evaluating investment opportunities as well as ensuring timely and efficient permitting of investments; The PM will be responsible for working independently, defining and executing schedules, deadlines and deliverables; Project Manager will be expected to responsibly define project tasks and resource allocation requirements; Other responsibilities will include: planning and budgeting; coordinating project staff and external resources; coordinating project status and managing delays; implementing and managing project adjustments to achieve project outputs; identify problems and present solutions; report proactively on project progress to all internal stakeholders; control project deliverables quality; negotiate with relevant players throughout the permitting process; manage current pipeline of projects and identify new potential projects.
Ideal candidate has experience in project management in biogas projects; Degree in Engineering; knowledge of project management techniques and tools; good knowledge of relevant energy laws and regulations; critical thinking and problem solving skills; ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines; responsibility, dynamism, autonomy; strong communication skills; ability to convey identified issues as well as potential risk exposures to management; fluent written English is a must; availability to travel out of Warsaw often and when needed; Computer literacy.
