Your new role
On this role you will be involved in cooperation with business representative and IT management to specify and agree on the scope of testing, moreover you need to ensure test requirements are reviewed, clear and testable. You will be responsible also for creation of automated test scripts as needed and make sure defined coding standards are followed, write own code and analyse results, create and maintain test cases and test scenarios, continuous improvement of existing automation scripts, identify and describe opportunities for successful implementation of test automation, execute test cases as per defined criteria and maintain test results and ensure all defects are correctly reported, analysed, assigned or escalated when needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To start working on this position you need to have at least 3 years of experience with software testing, excellent communication skills and very good English skills. You should also have experience with test automation tools (e.g. HP QTP/UFT, MS Visual Studio, Selenium WebDriver), good knowledge of test methodologies (Agile, V-Model, etc.), good knowledge of any scripting language (or programming language) and basic experience with SQL. Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related and ISTQB Foundation certification is also required.
Experience in executing non-functional tests using dedicated tools (e.g. MS Visual Studio, Load Runner, JMeter or similar) will be beneficial.
